Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (Kufos) is planning a Centre for Advanced Training in Entrepreneurship Development in Fisheries and Ocean Resources with the support of KSIDC and Kitco. Kufos has also plans to set up a business incubation centre, startup villages in collaboration with industrial bodies; and an entrepreneurship development centre. Further, it has plans to start new fisheries colleges in Kozhikode, Thrissur and Kollam, and also to start two regional centres for research at Kumarakam in Alappuzha and Kannur.
