The Odisha state government is planning to set up heavy motor vehicle (HMV) Driver Training Institutes in Berhampur, Keonjhar, Khurda, Koraput, Sambalpur and Angul districts of the state. The institutions at Berhampur and Keonjhar will be the first to go to ground. Those will be established at a cost of Rs 11 crore each and are targeted to be completed in two to three years. Work on the rest four will commence in phases.
