ICMR's biomedical research centre in Hyderabad receives Cabinet nod

The Department of Health Research in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare through The Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) will set up a National Resource Facility for Bio-medical Research (NARF) at Genome Valley in Hyderabad on 102.69 acres of land. Estimated cost of the project is around Rs. 338.58 crore, and is expected to be functional by 2018-19. Union Cabinet has provided its approval for the same.
