Tata Medical Centre’s two phase oncology care hospital at Rajarhat, Kolkata, is likely to be operational by mid-2017. The first phase of the hospital is been operational since 2011, was built at a cost of Rs.540 crore and has 183 beds and two linear accelerators. The second phase will have 250 beds to be built at Rs.200 crore. Nearly Rs.100 crore for constructing the second phase has already been raised. The remaining will be raised through various fundraising activities.
