JSW Steel Plans To Hike Capacity To 45 MT By 2030

JSW Steel, an alloy maker, is planning to increase its manufacturing capacity to 40-45 million tonne by 2030 from the present 18 MT in India, to maintain its 15 per cent share, as national steel policy envisages to increase installed capacity to 300 MT by 2030 from the current 128 MT. JSW has environmental clearances to increase the capacity from its 12 MT to 16 MT at its plant located in Vijaynagar. Meanwhile, it has also received approvals to double the capacity to 10 MT at its plant in Dolvi.
