Dominion Resources Inc plans to build and operate 81 MW of solar power plants in South Carolina’s Jasper County, United States. The company will construct, own and operate a 71.4 MW plant near Ridgeland that would sell its generated electricity to South Carolina Electric & Gas and its renewable energy credits (RECs) to the local unit of Belgian chemicals group Solvay SA. At the same time, it will build a 10 MW facility also near Ridgeland. It expects to complete those in later 2017.
