R. K Industries, a group company of Karan Dyestuff Industries, proposes a 5 TPM Vat Green-9, 2.2 TPM Vat Black-AC, 5 TPM Vat Red-1, 15 TPM various shades of synthetic organic dyes (formulation) and 7 TPM copper sulphate manufacturing unit at GIDC Nandesari, dist. Vadodara, Gujarat. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 30 million. The current status of the project could not be ascertained. According to SEIAA sources, EIA report has been prepared by Jyoti Om Chemical Research Centre. The total plot area is 2,051 sq. mtrs, out of which 157 sq. mtrs has used for green belt development. Industrial waste water will be treated in proposed ETP with hydrodynamic cavitation process and will be sent to CETP for further treatment. It is proposed to install one boiler (800 kgs/ hr), one spray dryer (1,000 ltrs/ hr) and one hot air generator (0.5 Lac kcal/ hr).
